We always enjoy filming cultural weddings and this was a great on. Love the ceremonial aspects of the Tea Ceremony and what it represents. A way of accepting or welcoming someone into the family. I always what words of wisdom is communicated by the elders. Anna and Vivek had a Chinese Tea ceremony as well as a traditional Indian wedding to represent Vivek culture. They also had a traditional western ceremony. The whole day was full of color. We really enjoyed this one and loved seeing so many family and friends attend. This group loved to dance!

One of the aspects of our job that we love is learning about other cultures and shooting in places we have never been before. Although we have shot in Chicago many times, we have yet to film at the same locations. We were so excited to learn that Donald and Nancy would be getting married at a church in the heart of Chinatown in Chicago. It was a beautiful day for their wedding and we loved getting to know their family and friends. The ceremony was at the Chinese Christian Union Church and the reception was at Drury Lane. Thank you Donald and Nancy for having us document your beautiful wedding.

This was a wedding that we shot at County Line Orchard in Hobart, Indiana. Samantha is a commercial photographer and is a very visual person and she knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding. Every outdoor wedding we have filmed, we keep an eye out for the weather forecast. We have radar apps and weather info applications on our iPhones to keep us informed so we can make some decisions. I remember showing Samantha the radar 20min before she was to walk down the aisle. She said, “we are going”. I phoned Stewart who was one of the other camera operators and I told him it’s a green light. The rumble of the thunder kept everyone looking up and just at the right moment the rain cut loose. The rain drops were incredibly large. Someone handed Samantha and Alex an umbrella and the ceremony proceeded. I’m glad it did because the sound of the rain and how it looked made this small ceremony all that more romantic. Everyone was soaked including us. We protected our equipment as best we could and kept rolling.
We loved the vintage theme of the wedding.

Chicago is one of our favorite cities and we love it when we get to shoot there.

This is a wedding trailer we produced for Max and Andie. Wow! This was an amazing day. Perfect weather, great couple, great city and tons of cool locations. All we can say is that Andie and Max are really into each other and that makes us happy. The ceremony and reception was held at Petergof in Northbrook, IL. The ceremony and reception was off the charts! Special thanks to our good friend JJ Kim of Orange Wedding Films for shooting with us.
Congrats Max and Andie!
This was a Same Day Edit we filmed in Plymouth, Michigan for T.C. and Sue. This was a very unique church in that all of the church pews faced toward the center isle. The wedding and reception was held at The Inn at St. John’s, which was originally a seminary that started back in the 1940′s and closing in 1988.
This was a Polish wedding that had all the energy that these weddings display. The wedding day was beautiful and full of emotion. We love the first look between Sue and her Father. We also loved the anticipation on T.C.’s face as his bride approached down the long aisle at St. John’s. Congratulations to T.C. and Sue.
Special thanks to our good friend Ben Poenisch for assisting with this shoot.
Here is the trailer from Brian and Crissy’s wedding day. We met Brian and Crissy last December while in Chicago and instantly hit it off. We really enjoyed learning about how they met and hearing about their proposal. The wedding day was a beautiful sunny day and the venues were breath taking. We are so honored to have been chosen to capture their day. Enjoy!

Brian and Jessica are both from Northern Indiana, but their paths did not cross until Jessica decided to change colleges and got a job at the local coffee shop, Greyhouse Coffee, where Brian also worked. Within days they had met, and the rest if history. It is funny how things work out. We don’t always understand why things happen to us at the time, but God always has a plan.
The plan was to have an outdoor wedding, but mother nature had a different plan, and as the day progressed the skies turned darker and the rain moved in. There was even a tornado warning issued just minutes before the ceremony was to start. I know Jessica was very disappointed about having to change plans and get married inside, but she knew in the end they would be married and that was all the really mattered. Everyone came together and got things in place to start the ceremony inside. Everything turn out beautiful and we are honored to have been there to capture this important day with them.

Dan and Erin exchanged vows on a beautiful sunny day in Bloomington, Indiana. They decided to get married in Bloomington because that is where they met while attending Indiana University. Bloomington is such a great town and the IU campus is just beautiful.
I really enjoyed seeing they way they looked at each other throughout the day. You can see how much they love each other and their shared faith brings them even closer. They also have a great support system with their family and friends.
We met part of Erin’s family a few years ago when we shot her cousin Sean’s wedding. We are so honored to have been asked to capture another wedding for their family.

This was a wedding we filmed at a beautiful location. Laurel Hall has a very romantic setting and has some interesting history. As described on their website, “Laurel Hall has been part of Indiana’s historical landscape for over 90 years. During that time, it has played host to an all-girls school, a non-partisan think tank, and, in the beginning, the opulent home to one of Indiana’s wealthiest, most eccetntric and tragic families, the Fletchers.”
The couple is originally from Indiana but they live in California. The wedding was held in Indiana so that family and friends could attend. We always enjoy observing the Bride and try to imagine what is going through her mind as she is getting ready before the wedding. Beth was a beautiful Bride and she looked amazing. Nick has this old world charm about him that really fit well with this setting. One of our favorite parts of this film is seeing Beth through the glass taking a deep breath before walking through those doors and down the aisle to Nick. That one visual kind of sums it all up as a pivotal moment in their lives.
